Who we're looking for

Quality matters to us. Every Prep tutor must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Ideally hold a PGCE in the subject you are applying to teach.
  • Have strong experience teaching you subject at GCSE level and delivering GCSE specifications.
  • Be confident teaching both subject knowledge and examination skills.
  • Have regular availability during weekday evenings (not every evening - we can discuss the specific schedule during the call).
  • Have access to a reliable computer with a working camera and microphone and a suitable internet connection.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or be willing to obtain one/register with the update service.
  • Be reliable, professional and committed to Prep's high expectations for teaching and safeguarding.
  • Experience as a GCSE examiner is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably.
